The Adeeb Family, the founders of Willie Jewell's and owners of Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q, met Miss Jewell when she was just 16 years old. She had no home or family, but was given the opportunity to work in the Adeeb family restaurant in Jacksonville, Fla. She immediately became an excellent cook, finding success in her job, and more importantly, in her life. Willie became an important influence in the lives of most people who met her engaging personality and sharp sense of humor.
